Spiderflower's course repertoire for creatives offers a carefully structured program designed to provide a progressive and thorough training.

 

Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels fall into:

 

Due to COVID-19, all events (unless listed on the CALENDAR), will now run on demand or can be booked to serve pre-existing groups via an organiser. Organisers wanting to book courses contact Spiderflower for pricing and further details.

Spiderflower's work is often site specific. In these cases, specific location is noted, however, events can move to new locations provided a venue and surrounding environment are suitable. Otherwise, the location of a course is free to move without restriction and can work in studio.

Journeying through the dark months of the year to emerge with the first light of spring, this ongoing intensive takes explores the creative dynamics of gestation, dreaming, conception and birthing.

Held close to the ancient sites of Avebury in Wiltshire, UK - The Avebury Cycle is designed for women who walk a creative path and offers an open, breathable structure on an ongoing basis.

​

The dance cycle follows the pattern of a continual spiral rooted in the earth year.  Turning on the wheel, a dance will change its theme and focus to echo the rhythms of the season, a woman's life cycle and that of a dancer's own creative / personal story.

 

Intricately layered, in time and in tune, this is our structure.  The boat to carry the journey. 

 

*With care, WOMAN can translate outside of Avebury, provided land and venue meet requirements.

One of the most empowering and transformational courses in Spiderflower's repertoire, The River That Finds Us undertakes a years journey into the shared language of emotion, the body and natural world.

 

Travelling through dedicated landscape, the course presents an opportunity to understand and realign our emotional choreography as a creative force, whilst initiating a path of co-creativity between body and earth.
